Welcome to Smart Axe, Northern California’s largest premier axe-throwing experience. We are a world-class WATL facility ready to take an amazing item off your bucket list! Axe throwing is like darts but a million times more fun! We specialize in date nights, bachelorette, bachelor and birthday parties, corporate team building, and friends & family bonding.

Smart Axe is the latest and greatest destination for a party ages 12+!

Our next leagues begin the week of April 1st, check locations for league specifics

This is a recreational handicapped tournament…

  • We provide the axes (but you’ll probably want to buy your own from our huge selection)
  • 4 matches per night – 10 throws each match…
  • We will be handicapping this league based average weekly scoring.
  • $125 bucks gets you 8 weeks of throwing.

Prizes:

Weekly High Score: $20

8-Week League Winner:
1st: $100
2nd: $75
3rd: $50
4th: $25
5th: $15

Last Week Tourney Winner:
1st: Medal, $100, T-Shirt, Wall of Fame
2nd: $75

Great time!

I was invited to an event with a bunch of girlfriends and had an absolute blast. I was skeptical at first because I’ve never done axe throwing, but it was so much fun and I apparently have a newly found talent. The staff were extremely helpful and even showed me some hints that lead to me getting three bullseyes. Such a great place and perfect for events with friends!

I highly recommend visiting The Smart Axe. It was our 1st time ever throwing axes and we had a blast. Staff was friendly and greeted us right away. It was busy yet staff made sure we were taken care of at all times. A 75 minute session is the perfect time frame.

Mike and Jim were great! Mike served us drinks and Jim gave us lessons. The place would be great for a party or team-building as there is plenty of room, a bar and snacks!!
